Daniel Policy is the founder and Managing Partner of Phoenix Technology Ventures, LLC. Phoenix is an early stage opportunity fund that works with young software companies seeking management and financial assistance. Phoenix's current investments include Proscout Video, LLC, a non-linear video indexing and scouting system for athletic teams; Dextor, LLC, a document management software company; and Turning Technologies, LLC, an audience response software/hardware provider.
 

Prior to forming Phoenix, Daniel was recruited to serve as the CEO of Giftmember.com, a San Francisco based order management system tailored toward the $55.0 billion U.S. Gift market. Daniel was also a portfolio manager for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and New York, NY.
